  • Family dinners, family vacations.
  • Enough overhead space, leg room and bags of peanuts on airlines. 
  • Customer service (now known as customer care).
  • Good drivers.
  • Sixty minute lunches.
  • Green urban public spaces.
  • Grammar.
  • Originality.
  • Leadership.
  • Common Sense!

  1. Great list Jim. I would concur with most everything you listed. Maybe add:
    People eating enough vegetables.
    Resources to help w/ college tuition (we'll start w/ my son's).
    Taking time to be grateful what we have.

    - silence
    - time unplugged
    - decent top-down communication + linked to that: motivation
    - empathy in biz life

    Indeed taking time to be grateful with what we have: important to achieve happiness :-)
